Salone del gusto

From 24-27 September 2026, Terra Madre Salone del Gusto returns to Turin, Italy, bringing together 1,500 farmers, fishers, cooks, Indigenous leaders, activists, researchers, policymakers and young changemakers from over 120 countries.

At a time of conflict, climate disruption, biodiversity loss and growing inequality, what has become undeniable is that food is at the heart of every global challenge and every solution.

For four days, the global Slow Food network and thousands of visitors will come together to exchange ideas, share experiences and build concrete pathways towards food systems that are good, clean and fair for all.

This year’s claim is: Biodiversity, Be Diversity

Because biodiversity is more than protecting nature. It means valuing differences, strengthening communities, celebrating cultures and creating resilient food systems that can face the challenges ahead.

The answers already exist in fields, forests, kitchens, fishing communities and local markets across the world.

Terra Madre is where those solutions meet, inspire one another and grow stronger together.
