General Description
This workshop offers a deep aesthetic and sensory experience inspired by the Colombian rainforest as a living symbol of what we can still protect. Through an encounter with the work of artist Duván López, directly shaped by the jungle, we will ask:
Can a work of art awaken ecological awareness and real commitment?
In times of ecological crisis and biodiversity loss, the workshop becomes a space to feel, reflect and act through the symbolic, bridging contemplation and protection, perception and responsibility.
Seeing Through an Ecological Lens
From the perspective of deep ecology (Arne Næss, Joanna Macy), every gaze directed at nature carries a responsibility. Art does not just represent the forest — it invokes it, preserves it, and transforms it into vision. We will explore how Duván López’s brushstrokes, forms and colors act as triggers for reflection, memory and action.
